Thoughts on Never Never: Part 2
Two weeks ago, I wrote a review about Part 1 of this book and my opinion has changed completely on this. In Part 1, I mentioned that I just didn’t connect with the book the way that I did with Colleen Hoover’s previous works, but I loved this one.
This book was much better and more… more than part 1. If you’ve read both parts, you may know why I liked this one more. There weren’t as many questions left unanswered and the story just flowed better.
Anyway, this is a review about Part 2. The characters were much better thought out I think. They were stronger and I felt like I actually got to know them in this book. I know it’s a short book. Only about 130 pages, but I felt the connection with them. I was excited to see what happened next.
I was on the edge of my seat during this whole book. I got it at midnight on its release day and it was already finished by 3 am. I felt compelled to finish it and I was so sad to see it end. I said in my review of Part 1 that it made me sad and this one did too, but for different reasons.
This one made me sad because I just NEEDED part 3 as soon as possible. It ended at a point where it can basically go anywhere and I just need to know what happens. I am so excited for Part 3 to come out later this year.
Had you asked me if I was excited for Part 2 after I read Part 1, I’m not sure I would have said yes. I might have said “ehhhh, but I just have to read it because I want to see it get better” but now? Now, I am definitely going to be finishing this book.
I can see that Tarryn Fisher and Hoover are getting more comfortable writing together and their writing is getting better. I can’t wait to see how great Part 3 is!
