Synopsis

The dreams start and Bethi’s very normal life goes down the toilet. Reliving past lives, where Dog-men chase her and she sees her eventual tormented death, Bethi sets out to find a way to live this time around. The dreams hint at an answer. She needs to be strong enough to find it, or die…

The third installment of the Judgement of the Six answers questions, questions answers, and risks the fate of the world.

Thoughts on (Un)wise

So. Book 1 introduced us to this world. Book 2 gave us hints of something big coming, but no concrete answers. Well, book 3 delivers answers. Lots of answers. Oodles of answers. And somehow, you end up with even more questions.

Bethi’s ability to relive past lives is both a blessing and a curse. Given what she relives, it’s more curse than blessing. Until things start falling into place and she begins to understand why she and the other women have the abilities they have. Without Bethi, both the werewolves and the women who had found mates with them would be blissfully unaware of the danger stalking them. Until the danger pounced on them, that it.

However, just as Bethi’s ability gives them answers, it makes her wary. She’d seen so much death… heck, she’d felt so much death that it takes a long time for her to trust anyone around her. Especially since the man who makes her heart go pitter-patter can turn into a wolf when he gets upset. I will say, though, when she decides to trust Luke, she doesn’t waste any time trying to claim him. Her attempts at sneak biting were a crack up. And a little sad, given everything. But still… SNEAK BITING. LOVE IT!

AND THE ENDING. MAN! While Bethi and Luke’s relationship is tied up nicely, we’re given the start of something that will have a big impact on all the wolves. While I completely understand why Melissa Haag left us hanging like she did, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! *goes all flail-tastic on everyone* WANT MOAR!

*ahem* Excellent story. Sweet romance. Plenty of answers. OMG!WTF!BBQ!PIZZA! ending. Why, yes. I am waiting impatiently for the next book. How could you tell?
