To recap, here were my goals:
- Read a lot: no parameters on this, just read as much as I can within the 12 hour time frame.
- Have fun: because read-a-thons are supposed to be fun
- Tweet: I am a Twitter whore.

General Read-a-Thon Thoughts
I had a ton of fun, and I read six books. Six! Which is one letter away from the point of this read-a-thon. About eight hours into the read-a-thon, I hit a wall with reading, but ended up pushing through for one more book. I think books on the shorter side were definitely the way to go here. Of my goals, I think I accomplished everything but tweeting a lot. Surprising, considering tweeting is usually what I do better than reading in read-a-thons. It seemed like everyone else was having fun tweeting, though. Yes?

Holy giraffes on all the books you read!! I epic-y failed on tweeting but I loved getting all the ideas for dirty reads! I picked up the second Jodi book b/c the first was too much fun!!

Heh. You said holy giraffes. :) A lot of the books I read were short novellas, which helped my count, I think.
I am really glad that you enjoyed Jodi’s books! I had to chuck the YA for a bit, too. I think I’m ready to go back now. lol.

I’m still sad I didn’t get to Wild Card, but now I have something to look forward to :) I have started re-reading Jodi’s books and have been bugging her to add to our CSF and TVTYD library. Maybe by the next Doin’ it Dirty Read-a-thon? LOL!

Oh, I will read it now… I also downloaded a couple of their ‘Last Call’ books. 99¢ is almost as good as free, right?
I want to push Jodi into adding more books to the CSF and TVTYD series for the next ‘Doin It Dirty,’ read-a-thon… When you guys come up with a new date, I’ll give her a deadline ;)
