  1. Happy Blogoversary, Amanda!

You’re a total sweetheart and I’m terribly, terribly glad that we’ve bonded over books and Tumblr pics. Thank you for putting up with my writing insecurities and just being an all around awesome chick!

I love you and your blog like whoa and I’m so pleased to be a part of your team of supporters!

  2. I’ve only just been introduced to you through Book Soulmates’ Clock Rewinder posts, but from this letter, I think I love you. I look forward to getting to know you, but I can already tell you’re pretty awesome.

  3. *wipes tear* *sniffle*

That was beautiful and wonderful and thank you for sharing! When I started blogging, I never expected to actually make friends – real friends – friends who I can laugh with, confide in and genuinely enjoy ‘spending time with’ (even if that time is spent on the internet).

I’m so glad to have met you and to be able to call you a friend and my “grammar soulmate”. You are so talented and clever and I’m not brown-nosing but I really do admire what you’ve done with your blog. Keep up the amazing work! I wish you another AWESOME bloggy year :D

  4. Aw! That’s such a great letter–and perfectly describes my feelings about this community of fabulous readers and bloggers. It’s amazing to think there’s such a bond between people who’ve only/mostly interacted online (You aren’t going to BEA, are you? ‘Cause it would be cool to meet you IRL!). Here’s to another fantastic year of blogging–cheers!

  5. *pounces on you* I LOVE YOU TOO AMANDA! And my love runs deep. So deep it borders on obsessive. I’m thrilled to have “met” you and please know you are one of my very favorite stops each day, your blog is one I always know will make me laugh or give me a fantastic recommendation. Happy Blogoversary!

I don’t remember how I stumbled onto your blog, but I’m glad I did. Look forward to the next chapter.

  7. I have no idea how we met. Really – I don’t remember. I’m guessing I saw a link to your blog somewhere and clicked it and… the rest is history. Or it should be at least. The day the two Amanda’s met should live in infamy.

I’m so glad you’re part of this community so that I could meet you. Happy 1 Year Blogoversary! And I hope this next year is even more fantastic for you.

  8. Awwwww you are so sweet! I may be newish to your blog, but I really admire you for your honesty, personality and friendliness. Happy Blogiversary and good luck in your next year!

  9. Aw that was really cool Amanda. I’m glad you found a home in the book blogging community. I know I did the same when I first started blogging. First the community scared me because I thought on one would want to talk with me.

So glad I reached out and I actually found your blog through twitter and our shared convos with Matt so I’m glad I found your blog because it provides a lot of fun to the blogging community and my life. :)

  10. Aw, Amanda, I don’t stop by as often as I’d like to, but HAPPY BLOGVERSARY! You’re a STAR. Yours and Tara’s were the first book blogs I ever really saw, and TOTALLY inspired me to start blogging.

Congrats, and I hope you have many, many more FABULOUS blogoversaries ahead *hugs*

Best open love letter to the blogging community I’ve ever read.

Seriously, Amanda, I think ours was the first blogging friendship for me that made me realize that blogging could be a way to make real friends. I’ve so enjoyed getting to know you, and being your friend.

  12. You my friend are fucking amazing and I’m so incredibly happy that we ‘met’.

Happy Blogoversary my friend! Wishing you many, many more. =)

  13. Happy blogoversary! This is such a lovely letter. I love the community too. It’s nice to focus on the positives with all the drama going on lately!
