Clock Rewinders on a Book Binge is where Tara @ 25 Hour Books and I shamelessly plug each other, share the fantastic posts, giveaways, or whatever else we’ve found and loved by other awesome bloggers (or authors!) during the week, and talk about the books we plan on reading in the coming week.
On a Book Bender Recap
- Review: The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong — So many questions, so few answers.
- Top Off Tuesday — Happy Valentine’s Day!
- Kiss Me I’m Irish Read-Along Announcement — Join us! March 2nd through April 6th
On 25 Hour Books
- Audiobook Review: First Grave on the Right**** — perfect for breaking my reading slump
Around the Book Blogging Community
- Ruby filmed a vlog with a paper bag over her head JUST FOR ME.
- Jacinda had a great post on turn offs in books, which I totally loved and meant to comment, but didn’t. You all should make up for my lack of commenting by visiting and commenting for me.
- Ruby had fabulous a discussion post about feeling like you’re the only one who disliked a book.

I’m going to watch that vlog right now! I had someone vlog for me this week as well, just because I wanted to hear her accent. Funny that I asked her to vlog when I NEVER do it myself, lol.
And you mentioned ME?! YAY! Thank you!
“slut slave brunette” <–best ever!
I haven't chatted with you on Twitter in FOREVER! I actually haven't been on Twitter that much lately, lol.
Jacinda! I miss you! I haven’t been on Twitter much either, which is probably why we haven’t “run into” each other. *sad face*
I used to not be a fan of vlogs, but now I do. They’re just far more entertaining. And accents are fun!
I loved your post! :)
Your search terms are always a hoot. Looks like Ruby has you set for being snowed in.
hahaha, I would be set for being snowed in. Except this winter hasn’t been snowy AT ALL. *knocks on wood* (March is typically the snowiest month, so… I suppose it could always change).
Lazybones!
Ruby’s vlog was so fun, wasn’t it? Lol!
So, I’m a stalking expert now? I approve of this. *goes and hunts down more pics to send Rehv*
Speaking of which, he called me his “favorite graphic effect artist with stalker tendencies”. *swoon*
Yes! I want more vlogs from Ruby now.
And duh. Of course you’re a stalking expert. You were going to offer courses on it, remember?
I’ve been thinking about it. I could start collecting masks. Like, next week I could do a Mardi Gras mask. It could be fun.
YES! Doooooo iiiiiiiiiit!
I wonder where you can get masks for cheap?
A dollar store?
Which one? We have a dollar store, a Dollar Tree and a 99 cent store. Did you know that I can’t find out how to insert the cent symbol on my computer and I’ve had it for almost five years? True story.
I don’t know. They’re all the same to me.
Some interesting search terms! I love that you all plug each other. Very nice.
My search terms definitely keep me entertained throughout the week. :)
I have to check out more of Maureen Johnson’s books … I loved Name of the Star, too. Great vlog – love the jammies. :)
I’m hoping that her other books are just as good as Name of the Star.
I love my jammies, too. ;)
PLEASURE UNBOUND!! Love that series. :) And of course, Frostbite & Shadow Kiss…eeeeep! :D
Ruby told me that I have to read A Hunger Like No Other first, though. And you know I always do as I’m told.
I think you’ll probably like Larissa Ione, which is why I included that one in your box. But, still, A Hunger Like No Other is BETTER THAN EVERYTHING.
Probably. And BETTER THAN EVERYTHING? O.O
Oh, FINE! Not everything. I was exaggerating for effect. It’s called hyperbole, Ms. I Have a Masters in English.
*blinks innocently* I was just curious.
You wouldn’t know innocence if it bit you in the butt.
I’m pretty sure innocence does not bite people in the butt.
Of course it does. Innocently.
I’m not sure how butt biting is innocent.
Amanda! I’ve been waiting for this vlog all week! I hope you like all your books. I really, really hope you do. I put in all the things I thought you could remotely, possibly enjoy. I can’t wait for Spring Break, when you can read again. I’m bouncing because I may or may not have had a double latte! I can’t wait to move to the #BookBloggingCommune with you and Kelly and the #NakedWerewolves!
I’m sure I will like ALL THE BOOKS! I can’t wait for spring break, either!
I’ve had three cups of coffee and I’m not even bouncing. How sad is that?
I want to pick up the Vampire Academy books.. I’m on a big old YA series binge at the moment so. Yeah. Apparently my local library has the first two!
I really liked the first in the VA series, so I’m hoping the remaining books are just as good! :)
